Chad Billingsley (2-4, 3.47) vs. J.A. Happ (3-5, 5.30).
In the last 15 years, I've had jobs which have required a lot of travel, domestic and international. I've never made it to Minute Maid Park in Houston...but I have drunk a lot of Minute Maid juice. It started when I was young, when we'd have Minute Maid frozen concentrated orange juice for breakfast. Schloop! went the orange sludge into the pitcher, mix with three cans of water and OJ's on. I then graduated to Minute Maid orange juice in a carton, and have sampled all the varieties (Original, Original + Calcium, Country Style, Extra Vitamin C and E plus Zinc, Kids+, Home Squeezed Style, Home Squeezed Style + Calcium, Pulp-Free, Low Acid, Light, Orange Tangerine + Calcium, Orange Passion + Calcium). I guess drinking Minute Maid lemonade was the natural next step. Like the orange juice, it comes in both frozen (canned) and non-frozen ("Premium") versions. I've also had Minute Maid frozen lemonade, which I believe they serve at Dodger Stadium. About the only Minute Maid juice product I didn't enjoy was their canned cranberry drink, which was once served to me on an airplane. I hesitate to call it a "juice" product because it had more sugar than cranberry juice. Yuck. Anyhoo, be sure to drink Minute Maid juices when you can — you gotta take advantage of opportunities when you've got 'em.

"Schloop!"
The official sound effect of the 2011 Los Angeles Dodgers.
Furcal - SS
Carroll - 2B
Loney - 1B
Kemp - CF
Sands - RF
Navarro - C
Gibbons - LF
Miles - 3B
Billingsley - P
So, to review, this lineup states to the world that:
* Loney is the Dodgers' best hitter
* Navarro is the team's "second cleanup hitter"
(cries)
Orel's GT: now with extra pulp.
I used to drink the schloop out of the Minute Maid frozen Limeaid. I used to cut back a little on the water to up the tang factor.
*awaits DB "tang" joke*
"...mix with three cans of water and OJ's on."
To get through this season, most readers will ammend this recipe to include at least one can vodka.
@QuadSevens I swear I mentally added "and vodka"
Epale everyone!
Will this year's draft get extensive coverage here since there's an actual Son of Steve Garvey in it?
I am kind of tempted to get in on the world series ring raffle the Giants are having. It would be pretty cool to immediately sell that thing after a few choice photos.
PGT Up!
Hey look, the game started.
Gibby power!
Hey look, Gibbons is waxing!
PGT Up!
Oh, come on Spank!
@Spank if Gibbons homered, anything can happen, even a win!
But most likely a loss.
Someone must have spiked Loney's Wheaties with HGH.
Atta boy Jay!
yay! King James is already on a 10 day hitting streak, baby steps :)
Grand Sands!
SAND SLAM!!!!
Loney is almost OPSing .600!
WHOA SNAP!!!!!!!!!
Steiner: "AND IT'S...(10 seconds of silence)
...A HOME RUN!"
I thought Steiner had stroked out.
White bread, the other white meat. Or bread.
STOOPID BILLS.
Screw this noise.
Oh yippee, we still suck.
Damnit Chad!
Epale, y'all!
How's the suck factor?
I'm just daydreaming about Loney reaching his King James status, White Bread hitting to the expectations and more Ethier and Kemp greatness, wouldn't it be nice?
and of course, an injury-free Furcal
*sighs*
From your lips to God's ears, K.
Wotcher, Karina!
And speaking of Wotcher, the Wotcher originator, Nymphadora Tonks, is now a recurring character on Game of Thrones!! AWE-SOME!
OMG, is there a character named Nymphadora Tonks? I wasn't planning to watch that show , guess it can't be her because hmmmm, well, it could be kinda complicated*
*trying to be spoilers-free
Oh no. I mean the actress! Natalie Tena!
Game of Thrones is SUPER good (I've read all the books and am a big fan). But it's heavy on violence and nudity...
Also, please keep it together, Chad.
Heavy on nudity? Sign me up,Mr.F!
Chad doesn't like big leads.
Epale Y'all
Oh COME ON!
Elizabeth...this is the big one. Im coming for...
Oh, two outs.
Nevermind
@Mr F I was a *bit* confused. I loved her portraying my dearest Tonks.
Humberto Quintero is one of my favorite former Aguilas players but it's not his time to shine.
No job is too big
No fee is too big
And no lead is too big
This team is frustrating as hell.
At least we got bin laden
I don't want a Carlos Ruiz badge.
Epale, MB!
Wish I could put on the game...but chilling in the back in unseasonable brisk temps watching my two year old play tee ball doesn't suck.
* happy cries*
Looking at boxscore on gameday
*angry cries*
Epale Josh and crew

Work has become so demanding.

Wowee wow!
Just confirmed: I'll be in the O.C. on June 17th to watch U2 @ Angel Stadium!
Alert the authorities.
What's all the wowing about?!
And Wotcher, MB!!!
Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby!
@Mr. F - Rubby of the Roses.
Have someone dominate out of the pen is very fun to watch.
I don't know how I'd feel about a Cleveland reject becoming the coach of the Lakers.
Just got home. FB, is there a time limit on responding to your tang comment?
BTW, I never thought I'd say this, but it was really exciting listening to Steiner's call of Rubby DLR's successful debut inning. Credit where credit is due; I was on the edge of the driver's seat of my car.
Hooray for Carlos Lee!
@Spank... I'm there on the 18th. Bought the tickets A YEAR AND A HALF AGO.
That' so long that I went from having only one kid, to my wife getting pregnant (most likely by me), having the second kid, who will then be six months by showtime.
What did White Bread do? I took the time to read the GT but not to actually look up the box score.
Delino said "That' so long that I went from having only one kid, to my wife getting pregnant (most likely by me)"
Close enough for government work!
White Bread Grand Slam? Wow! (dry humps Sands)
Here we go (again?)
Don't Save a Prayer for (us) now, Save it till the morning after
Around the MLB:
"Rockies pitcher Jorge De La Rosa suffered a complete tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow during the team's 12-4 victory over the D-backs in the opener of Tuesday's doubleheader at Coors Field."
Damn, sucks.
