Former Dodger Infielder Wilson Valdez Wins A Game

According to mlb.com, thoroughly forgettable Dodger Wilson Valdez became the first position player to win a game since 2000 after Raul Ibanez's sacrifice fly won it for the Phillies in the bottom of the 19th inning. Phillies 5, Reds 4 (19).

Valdez pitched a scoreless top of the 19th, seeing only four batters and letting one reach first (but not advance from there) on a HBP. Valdez had 10 pitches, 5 for strikes. Valdez started the game at second base and went 3-for-6 with a double.
