Autograph Alley to Benefit Victims of Tornado Alley

From a Dodgers press release:

WHAT: Dodger players will sign autographs for fans at tomorrow’s Viva Los Dodgers Day, presented by State Farm, Time Warner Cable and Chevrolet, as well as before Tuesday’s game, to help raise funds and awareness for the Southern United States tornado relief efforts. [...]

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as the Dodgers take on the Chicago Cubs, fans will be able to give money or school supplies at Dodger Stadium at donation locations behind home plate on every level as well as in the right and left field pavilions.

WHO: Those expected to participate in the signing sessions include Manager Don Mattingly and Pitching Coach Rick Honeycutt and players Clayton Kershaw, Jonathan Broxton, Matt Guerrier, Lance Cormier, Marcus Thames, Tony Gwynn Jr. and Rod Barajas.

Cormier and his family reside in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, one of the areas hit hardest by the weather, and he is spearheading the team’s relief efforts. Other participating players that were affected by the tornadoes include Matt Guerrier (Birmingham, AL), Rick Honeycutt (Ringgold, GA) and Marcus Thames (Starkville, MS).

Hall of Fame Manager Tommy Lasorda, who will be taking photos with fans and the 1981 World Series trophy in Autograph Alley tomorrow, will also accept donations.

5:30 – 6:15 p.m.

MISC: A $5.00 donation is encouraged and monetary donations of cash and checks will be accepted. Checks should be made out to "The Salvation Army Disaster Relief."
