Still hung over from the wild win last night, and, quite, frankly, from the booze itself, we march on through this up and down season. Currently riding the Puigasm, we bow down to our young Cuban Jesus in hopes that he can provide the winning spark we've lacked so far this season.
These last few exciting wins make it feel like we've gone on a 12-game win streak or something. Regrettably, Dodgers sit in last place, 6 games under .500 and 7.5 games out of first. Maybe it's optimism, though, or maybe it's fueled by the Bloody Marys coursing through our veins to combat the hang over, but there is a sense that the clubhouse is beginning to finally gel. Sometimes it takes a Puig or a walk off win or a hit batsman to really get a team to come together. These guys know they can score and win, and knowing is half the battle.
And there is simply no way in a just world that we could possibly have MORE injuries, so it has to get better, right?
Keep hope alive, folks!
