Clayton Kershaw (5-4, 1.84) vs. Clayton Richard (2-5, 7.01)
It's raining Claytons! (Or there are just two, I dunno.) Kershaw, while seeming a tad more human over his last few starts, is still one of the few bright spots of this funeral dirge of a season. He'll probably throw 270 pitches, just to spare us the pain of seeing the bullpen again.
Let's get this one. The division is still within striking distance, at least according to some thinking-out-loud I was doing earlier today.
Just don't clay down and die.
UPDATE 4:51p (Sax): AC and I will be at the game tonight!

Yep. That sure is a lineup.
Lets start a winning streak
I may be crazy and a little drunk, but I am completely open to starting a one-game winning streak tonight. Whaddaya say? Can I talk you into it?
@Fred that's crazy drunk talk
What happened to our $60M outfield?
From hanging out in Manhattan at the start of the week to picking and shucking corn in the Central Valley at the end of it. At either end my baseball team is not a good one. So
much for my pathetic attempt to disrupt the cosmos.
James Loney pulled his average back up to .300 but he is looking more like James Loney.
The Killeens are Kontemplating a Karavan to San Diego Sunday.
Maybe we can keep the errors to under 2 tonight.
AC and I are at the game! Third base side, field level. Look for us!
Sitting around MANY Dodgers fans
So much for Clayton Richard
Two pitches in...it's Tim Stauffer!
So we knocked Richard out after two pitches?
THANKS FOR RUINING MY GAME THREAD.
Why throw Puig a fastball? I think every pitcher thinks he can be the guy to blow him away.
@Sax: good seats? We're shopping for Sunday tickets
I see FB has been pre-gaming. :)
And all we can score, after all that, is one.
@BJ: 10th row back. And I got 7 of 'em!
It has been too long since we have been in a brawl.
That lead was fun.
My god we are snakebit
We are haunted by Frank mcCourt
@Sax: I'll record it
The curse of Steve Sax.
@Sax
I think I saw you. Did you dye your hair blonde and get a few nose rings?
Vin with the Toulouse-Lautrec reference!
Vin's right. AGon's cooling off considerably.
I'm fading. Dodgers are dull, and Detroit time is still in my system.
Elian Scissorhands
We'll wake you up if something interesting happens, BJ.
Clayton is disappointingly human again. 3-1 Padres.
Game. Blouses.
Jesus, our defense is just the worst. Herrera error, Schu gets a terrible jump. Padres have scored three runs in this inning alone.
Meanwhile, UCLA is blowing it over on ESPN. Shit.
Vin feels really bad for not knowing Sunday's starter.
Way to hustle, Adrian. Puig turns that into a double.
I really am trying to keep a positive attitude about this season, but this team, minus Puig, makes that impossible.
Uribe the legend.
Fuck AJ.
Swing on the first pitch Skip. Real smart.
Dear Skip Schumaker, Mark McGwire, and all you impotent Dodgers:
Wake. The fuck. Up.
Skip Schumaker needs Tommy to scribble on his balls
We should just forfeit right now. Save up energy for tomorrow.
Why is Skip Schumaker batting for Ethier
Brandon league, finding new ways to suck
Jesus, League. Can't pitch, can't catch.
Ethier and League, Colletti's finest recent contracts
Two of my tweets favored on the #LADvsSD Twitter by the Dodgers! Only baseball highlight of my night
Everybody Hits League
My god this is depressing. I'm being mocked by padres fans.
And they're right. We are horrible.
Holy shit Puig is fast. 5-2 Pads.
Good job, BJK!
PGTUP, who cares
