First off, both Ryu and Maholm both had strong outings tonight, each pitcher allowing one run over seven-plus innings of work. Ryu allowed an RBI-single to Dan Owl, and Maholm gave up a solo home run to some new guy.
We give them a lot of shit, but the bullpen came through. Both Jansen and League did their jobs tonight, setting up a 10th-inning situation where the Dodgers had men on first and third, one out, Uribe at bat, and that new guy Puig on deck.
Before Uribe could hit into the team's fourth double play of the night, Braves reliever Anthony Varvaro uncorked his second wild pitch of the inning, allowing pinch runner Skip Schu to score the winning run for...

Thanks for nailing down the PPGT, Orel!
Thanks Orel!
I snuck in a look in the tenth to see Heyward double with two out. I was worried.
Can't wait for this highlight to load on MLB.com!
Oh wow, just saw the highlight of the WP, as well as Upton getting the third out in the 10th. Upton looked safe at first to me.
Striking distance of fourth place!!!
(masturbates)
It was the easy way out. Otherwise Puig would have hit another GSHR.
gnats lose!
On the other hand, the d-bags win again.

rewatching the highlights this morning. After the walkoff, Hanley kept pulling up Skippy's undershirt, like he was looking under some girl's skirt. Skip was getting pissed. I assume he's still uptight from his days in St Louis, where they would never stand for such ribaldry
FB's comment was the first thing I read this morning. It's going to be a good day.
And then Shredder started dry humping Skip on their way into the dugout. I'm just going to go on the assumption that they all just started humping like rabbits in the clubhouse afterward.
I lost reception in the third inning and regained it by the 8th. When I saw the Dodgers had scored only one and I thought naw it couldn't be on a Puig homerun but yup it could.
The world is a new place after this week and anything is possible. I might go do something productive like clean a park, save a baby, or rob a bank. Wait banks aren't open on Saturday. I'll just drink coffee and read the paper but yeah anything is possible.
@Paul
Great lead-in to today's GT! Were you reading over my shoulder?
