According to Vin Scully, this was Hiroki Kuroda's first career win over Colorado. Sounds weird, but he had an 8.27 ERA at Coors Field before tonight. Perhaps overcompensating, the Dodgers have scored 15 runs in Kuroda's last two starts. Tonight's offensive heroes were Rod Barajas, with four RBIs (including a three-run homer in the third inning) and Tony Gwynn, with a solo homer in the fourth. Unfortunately, Barajas left the game with a mild right groin strain.
