This is why the Phillies are playing in the rarefied air (and payrolls) of the Yankees and Red Sox: their fifth starter has almost ace-like numbers. Worley, called up to replace the injured Joe Blanton, figures to baffle the feeble Dodger bats in today's throwback uniform game. Not only have the Phillies won Worley's last nine outings, but he's never faced the Dodgers before. Unfamiliarity with pitchers = bad news for Dodgers.
