Kuo Fighting Yips, Jansen Notching Whiffs

Hong-Chih Kuo, nearing his bobblehead night, shows promising signs in rehab, along with Kenley Jansen:

Pitching for Class A Rancho Cucamonga against Visalia, Kuo allowed a leadoff double, then retired the side on a strikeout and two ground balls. It was his first game appearance since leaving the team on May 10 with anxiety disorder.

Pitching for Double-A Chattanooga against Mississippi, Jansen struck out all three batters he faced. It was Jansen's first appearance since being disabled with shoulder bursitis on May 29.

Hurry up, boys. Our bullpen could really use one or both of you.
