Clayton Kershaw (1-0, 0.00) vs. Jhoulys Chacin (---, -.--) (<;-p)
The Dodgers hit the road to face a team that's only a game out of first place in the division, as well as a game out of a share of the wild card lead. What, you want to cite small sample sizes, which put the Baltimore Orioles atop the AL East with a 4-0 record? Maybe you've got a point.
Chacin, who was supposed to start Sunday as the #3 in the Rockies' rotation (but got rained/snowed out (see photo)), wants to prove that last year's 3.28 ERA (28 appearances, 21 starts) isn't a fluke. Yeah, but we've got a Minotaur and his 0.00 ERA, as well as a team that hasn't lost a series all year (damn, there's that sample size issue again).
You want the Dodgers to take their NL West-leading show on the road (where the Dodgers are undefeated this year)? You got it. Just don't be expecting to feel like a sunny delight, "Orange" Jhoulys.
