From "Jerry Sands' debut gives Dodgers a lift" by Tony Jackson at ESPNLosAngeles.com:
While that could have been interpreted as a message -- Lilly (1-2) responded by throwing one behind the Braves' Nate McLouth in the seventh, resulting in a warning being issued to both teams -- Sands was able to shrug it off, especially after Hudson sent an autographed ball to him that included an actual, written message."He sent a ball over, which I appreciated, that said, 'It got away from me,' " Sands said. "It's happened before. There is no reason why he would be throwing at my head right there. We had a good at-bat and a good battle after that, and I didn't [read anything] into it at all."

New Game, what was Matt Saying to Hudson?
Take notes Chadley.
@CVF: I read it as, "Hey, don't you do that shit here, boy." It was at least some variation on that.
You doubt Mrs Dusty's read, Josh? I'm telling her!
So, a kid tears shit up in spring training; kills AAA pitching (the asterisk is added because he plays in Albecracky); is a solid guy in LF; seems well grounded, and (most importantly); was never a member of the San Francisco Gnats?
What is Ned thinking bringing this kid up? Don't the Gnats want to trade for Aaron Rowland?
Glad to see that a team who hasn't scored more than 3 runs in this homestand until last night has the "vision" to FINALLY bring Jerry Sands up to the majors.
If I was Marcus Thames and Jay Gibbons, I'd start getting my agent busy looking for a new team, because:
JERRY SANDS IS THE FUTURE OF LEFT FIELD!!
Or:
JERRY SANDS IS THE FUTURE OF FIRST BASE!
What Would Shane Victorino Do?
oooh, good point, DB.
On the 1b comment, not Victorino.
I just thought it was funny vin had them go back to that and they slowed it down so you could almost read what matt was saying
@Enrique_Rojas1: #Dodgers informados de que Ronald Belisario no recibirá visa de USA
*cries Spanish tears*
Not sure Belly has anything left mentally or physically.
I seem to remember he was pretty decent in winter ball. So it goes, I guess...
North Pole league?
Wait, isn't that good that Belli can't make it back? He was terrible last year. I'd rather have Hawksw.....
(cries)
Belisariyou had to go.
SoSG IT Department:
End this madness now!!!
#MobileSafari
Belli wasn't half as bad as Tron last year, though (when he was playing)
...and yes, I realize that isn't really a ringing endorsement.
I want to see Sherrill cough one up.
Furball incoming!!!!
Last time I checked, Flat Breezy's ERA was north of 10.
No Belli; no peace! (from opposing hitters. . .they loved that guy)
Maybe we can get the Gnats to give us Mota back. Or for Timmah to give us our mota back.
Hey Beli! I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy who can bring you over here for a fee.
At least we have MattyG.
(cries)
@Mr C Belisario is more than decent, he dominates the league. I suspect he has a big substance problem.
@karina
I suspected as much. Sad to see talent go to waste.
I know what happened with Belisario. US Embassy found out he missed several appointments with his designated therapist and knowing his substance abuse record, the embassy decided to suspend his visa.
