Watson ($5,000) vs Brad Rutter ($5,000) vs Ken Jennings ($2,000)
I admit I missed Round One, but looking at the results, it's clear Watson is toying with Rutter, making him believe he has a chance. Jennings, in a distant 3rd, is taking Round 2 very seriously. Judging from the photo, he's either crazy-focused on processing the Jeopardy grid and Trebek's narration, or about to blow up the world in frustration and humiliation.

Sure, Watson has the smarts and speed, but does it have a gameplan? It just picks random questions with no rhyme or reason.
Watson's primary advantage seems to be its buzz-in reaction timing.
The humans should just focus on buzzing in first, then comprehend the question afterwards.

As a former Jeopardy champ (March '08), I can confirm it's all about the buzzer. Give Watson human-timed responses, and it's a distant third against these guys.
Ken needs to stop looking so pissed. It's off-putting.
