A Witty Comment Thread Worth Reading

I've always been impressed with our readership's sarcastic wit, which usually feeds on itself like an avalanche, picking up more and more debris along the way. You know, kind of like Katamari Damacy, except funnier.

Via Deadspin, here's a brilliant and witty comment thread worth reading. We need to step up our game, boys and girls! (That's what Spring Training Game Threads are all about!)

Did anyone note the Toad Suck, AR reference in one of the comments? That's right whe I grew up!

Star Wars reference, political rants, Nazis. Been there, done that.

Those guys/gals have nothing on us.

Plus, we got Spanky.

I don't think there was a War of Spanish Succession reference in there (though I skimmed, I admit). I bet we could take 'em

As much as I hate the recent developments in Los Angeles, I feel sorry for Frank McCourt. He didn’t ask for any of this, he probably realizes just how pointless his ownership is, and every man and his dog now hates his ass.

Aside from a couple of Mark Cubans and Donald Sterlings (who are to be found pretty much everywhere), most owners would get to choose between rolling with the entire thing against their choosing or losing their teams.

and seriously, where are you going to go if Bud Selig fires you!?

There is still room on my "Giants suck!" paper plane for sponsorship! I was hoping Dick's Sporting Goods would sponsor the other side.

Did you ever finish up your historical project of reading all the SoSG blog posts from oldest to newest?
