Game Notes:
- Please try to keep to the commenting convention indicated in the rules, but yes, I will accept any comment that was obviously intended as part of the game. Team Flo took Round 1 either way.
- Deltalina steps up their game BIG-TIME in 2nd round! Tied 1-1 going into 3rd round...
- Deltalina wins the the 4th magic minute and thus Round I-C and thus moves on to Round 2! More coming...
- Flo wins the garbage round, but Deltalina had benched their starters. I've been very busy today, but more info coming Monday!

I tried counting and gave up. I don't know how it's showing up for anyone else, but there are a bunch of my 8:55 comments at the top of the second page, after a run of 8:56s on the first page.

Fearless Flo Leader: that's how it looks for me too. Page 1 normal, then only my comments at the top of page 2.
We may have overwhelmed the system.
For me too, but those comments don't show up when I view this post on the blog page. They only show up when I'm in "leave your comment" view.
When I look at the "real" pages instead of the ones you can comment on, everything seems to come out fine.
Now, I'm by no means official, but I went through and did a quick count. It looks like we at Deltalina have some catching up to do. I didn't go back and double check, but I think it's roughly 83-63 Flo after round 1.

If I remember the rules right, the counts are thrown out after the minute, so it would be 1-0 Flo. You "win" the minute by having the most comments, and then the most minutes won wins the round.

D amn why did so few of my posts show up in the 8:55am minute? Weird. I only had 3 conflicting edits but I know there were more posts.

Yeah J Steve, I didn't realize that (obviously). The way I first read the rules and the time frames that were set made it appear, if read one way that it was 5 minutes:
"# There are five 'magic minutes' in your day during which you must clear out your calendar: 8:55am, 9:55am, 11:05am, 12:45pm, and 2:55pm (all times PT).
# During each of these magic minutes, the object is simple: comment in the thread as many times as possible."
I just saved in my mind the "five magic minutes" which made sense since each one started at x:55, but it can (is) be seen another (correct) way. Whatev!
@ Quad: I'd guess the record thread occured either when the Dodger acquired manny mid-season or at his suspension.
