Team Flo completely waxed Team Deltalina in Round I-B after being the waxee in Round I-A. So it all comes down to Round I-C. Here are the rules:
- Tomorrow at 8am PT, a post titled "Flo vs Deltalina: Round I-C" will appear.
- There are five 'magic minutes' in your day during which you must clear out your calendar: 8:55am, 9:55am, 11:05am, 12:45pm, and 2:55pm (all times PT).
- During each of these magic minutes, the object is simple: comment in the thread as many times as possible.
- For each magic minute, the total number of comments made by a Team Flo member will be tabulated. The same with Team Deltalina.
- Whichever team has more comments wins that magic minute. Whichever team wins more magic minutes wins the round.
- Your comment MUST abide by only one rule: it must be (or begin with) the letter 'F' or 'D', depending if you are on 'F'lo or 'D'eltalina. If for some reason you want to comment more than the single letter, that is ok, but the 'F' or 'D' must be followed by a space before continuing with the rest of your comment.
- Capital or lower case is accepted, but if your comment does not follow the above convention it will not count.
One additional tidbit of information: All 14 members of the winning team will advance as well as 2 "wildcard" members of the losing team. The 2 wildcards will be chosen based on individual performance - I'm working on an objective way to gauge this, so stay tuned.
Got it? So clear out your calendars, and good luck. Remember, (most of) the losing team goes home!

oh man this is a doozy. I am already imagining the frustration we will be feeling when we get the multiple comments/conflicting edits error page over and over again
and damn this east coast bias - I don't think i'll be able to participate at the 2:55pm period
I predict several "F uck" posts on our side.
And yeah, the conflicting edits may kill this game. Blogger canna take the strain, Cap'n!
Hmmm...I'll be posting from my iPhone for two of those minutes. That's gonna be interesting.
Ah, but conflicting edits is just part of the game.
"D amn" and "F uck". I like it.
Quad: What's the over under on this one? Josh S could be at 250 by himself!
Well this will hopefully force me to sleep and wake up early.
I just set reminders on my Outlook calendar. This is going to be frantic...
D:
I need a drink.
Just practicing.
J Steve, I'm merely benefiting from a (mostly) unsupervised desk job and a slow time of year for what I do.
Now, there's no penalty for inaccuracy, right? We could start spamming at 2:54? I ask because I noticed that more than one player yesterday had clocks that we're out of sync with the comment timestamps.
Over/under on this thread is tough to predict. It all depends on how much trash talk goes on between "magic minutes." I'm guessing there will be a lot, but not as much as yesterday.
I'll say 400. I figure at least 100 comments after the first magic minute, but it will tail off as people leave work for the later magic minutes.
I'm just glad I don't have to keep score.
Does all the commenting have to occur in the original thread?
Josh - no penalty for inaccuracy.
Orel - yes all commenting should be done in the same thread (there should be only 1 FvD thread tomorrow, at least until the game is over).
Got it. Magic minutes don't need threads.
With all those conflicting edits, it may be wise to have a medical team on hand over at Dusty's.
He'll either have an aneurism, or stab someone with a letter opener.
I haven't been paying much attention to this game at all, but I figured I should at least stop by to say that I see Deltalina's face in my nightmares. That woman is scary, and I don't know if even 10% of those features were present at her at birth.
Please continue.
I have to say, the penalty for inaccuracy is an intriguing idea. Maybe not for ahead of the magic minute, given timestamp issues--but what about beyond the magic minute?
EK, I leave it to you to decide.
Team Flo: I'm probably out for the 8:55a minute, but I should be around for the remaining fanfare.
Let's keep it simple both to play and to track/score: no penalty for inaccuracy.
I'll probably be around for one of those hours.
Mr. C:
Thanks for the preventative medicine. Indeed, the conflicting edits potential has me flummoxed; I hope I can sleep. What if I am trying to post a comment that says:
"D erek Jeter"
And it gets screwed up? It would take me forever to regroup and reformulate my thoughts.
@dusty
Fuck if I know.
D ammit i am gonna miss magic minute #1 due to some stupid meetings. I hope other D eltalinas can cover for me
Time stamp test...
Another test...
One more...
