Sorry for the lack of recent postage, folks. The Sons are currently fulfilling their holiday obligations across the globe. I hope I get upgraded on my flight to the North Pole, because I don't want my sciatica flaring up.
Meanwhile, in Dodgertown:
- Divorce could hurt Dodgers' pocketbook (Tony Jackson, ESPNLosAngeles.com)
- Manny questions hang over Dodgers (Tony Jackson, ESPNLosAngeles.com)
- DeWitt unfazed by Carroll's signing (Ken Gurnick, Dodgers.com)
And among the bloggerati:
- Is Jon Weisman moving to ESPNLosAngeles.com? Or will he be double-dipping? ESPNLosAngeles.com (Vin Scully Is My Homeboy)
- Speaking of which: Congrats, Diamond! Off to ESPN.com (Diamond Notes)
- And last but not nearly least, congrats to one of the best: Eric Stephen Pops the Cork (True Blue LA)

Merry Holidays to the Sons. I hope Santa brings you what you want and gives the McCourts a big lump of coal (but I am sure they would fight over that too)
Four straight days of partying. Three for the holidays, and now one today for their dad's birthday.
This just in: Jamie asks for 40% of all coal received by the couple.
That's nothing to sneeze at. I imagine they account for 3/5 of the regional economy of Appalachia.
I'd like to put my "carbon footprint" dead on Frank's ass, I tell ya.
As MLASF noted, it's your dad's birthday today. How is Steve spending it? Another cougar cruise? Dressing as Santa and heading for the Playboy Mansion?
Maybe that Santa in the second picture is Garvey.
"Sit on my lap and tell me what you want for christmas."
Maybe the dancer in the 2nd pic is Mrs Claus giving Santa his Xmas gift? Whoever it is, her legs are pretty stocky.
SoSG should do something about Plaschke's Twitter rants. He does them once a week, and it just gets weird.
Orel: Where are you from?
@EK
I thought the same thing, but I'm not surprised that's how Santa rolls.
If that is the Missus, she's doing alright for being several centuries old.
@Alexander: I was born on Alderaan but we moved to Magrathea when I was two.
Orel- I didn't know you were Slartibartfast's great nephew.
@db
You should see his fjords! The craftsmanship is not half bad.
@Orel: Since I currently reside close to the north pole, I wanted to offer my condolences.
