Ugh...

I have a feeling I'll need a pan-galactic gargle blaster or twenty to get through next season.

Seriously@Mr. Customer but more importantly, friggin' Glee isn't coming back until April??? Jesus, it's going to be a cold winter.

i am really hoping that once the season starts, i'll be filled with that ignorant, clueless hope that gets me through the first few months of the season, that I will forget that we may me missing a golden opportunity by farting on our hands this offseason

There is another double header, April 5th is opening day in Pittsburgh (a game I plan on attending) and it is also the scheduled day for the McCourt spousal support hearing.

I'm warming up for the season. I watched Pablo Sandoval play last night. Tonight is his last game of the season, so i'll wear Dodgers gear to represent the spirit of the good side. He went 1-4 with a RBI and he did a couple of good defensive plays while playing 3rd. He was booed loudly in two occasions: a long fly that Carlos Gonzalez catched in a spectacular way and the RBI. He looks "thin"

Saw Monasterios on Sunday pitching and he did his best at imitating late 2009 Bills. It's a fit, ladies and gents!

@FB: But at least our hands will be warm.

@Karina: Great report! Did you take pictures?

Great report, Karina. But what is "thin" ?

Actually that May road trip is a TRIPLE header. I turn 40 (like the amount of ounces in a 40oz) and am planning on flying out for those games at Wrigley.

Mr. C-

There's no amount of that Ol' Janx Spirit that can get us through the upcoming season if we don't pick up some more and better pitching.

re: running theme:

Since it's a triple header last week in May (see my above comment), we need a picture of the Triple Breasted Whore of Eroticon 6.

I loved Diamond Leung's line:

"I wonder how much Frank is paying Jamey."

Blake DeWitt is currently being subjected to the Total Perspective Vortex, it seems.

Jamey Blake Carroll. Does Ned need a monopoly on infielders named Blake?

Kidding aside its a solid move (not sure about giving him two years, though). Adds depth to the bench (in that we now actually have a player to put on the bench) , has great verasatility and gives us some insurance for DeWitt. The 2B market wasn't that great anyway (at least in our price range).

Now lets sign a pitcher.....

@DB

I'm sure there was no implied correlation between your visit to Wrigley and a 40oz mention in the same post.

Mr C-

Completely a coincidence. Yeah...a coincidence.
