Dodgers Dominate in Worst Contracts of the New Millennium

In a piece for Big League Stew, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports has compiled a list of the worst MLB contracts of the past ten years. Turns out the Dodgers can dominate more than just the NL West:

The 10 worst baseball contracts of the 2000s (Big League Stew)

And Juan Pierre didn't even make the cut! Tough crowd.

Sadly, their contracts of the aughties are probably better then their contracts of the nineties.

We signed somebody!!!

Justin Miller?

OK then...

Isn't he the guy with a special rule where he always has to wear long sleeves due to his arm tattoos?

I see he's a Torrance native. He may want to check his contract for any pool visitation provisions.

Jason- Yes.

And a former Giant, so you know Colletti was aroused by that.

We also get Prentice Redman!

Now we just need Method Man!

NL West took 5 of the top 6 spots!

Don't forget Darren Dreifort is an anagram for 'Drafted in Error'.

Sure is weird that the comments list doesnt' have Dusty Baker as more (inane) comments than others.

Damn, Josh, that Method Man reference was just tha shit. I can go to bed now, satisfied.

I put Schmidt ahead of Drifort on tbis list. Every year you thought that this may be they year Darren stayed healthy. After Jason's first month with the Dodgers I never had that hope.

Schmidt combined to pitch 50 innings in his 3 years here. Besides 2002, Dreifort pitched at least 50 innings every year from 1997 to 2004.

I think Zito needs to be higher. & year deal plus DD and Schmidt were always hurt. Better not pitching than pitching the way Zito does.

Thank god we got Redman, now we can bench that loser Kemp.
