I missed most of today's game, but I didn't mind because I spent the day playing catch with my five-year-old nephew. We used the squishy foam ball the Dodgers gave out on Father's Day. By the end of the day the kid had a pseudo-windup for his throws and was fielding grounders with two hands. I was so proud! Now all I have to do is teach him to throw left-handed.

Just strap his right arm to his side and he'll adapt. Sure, it's cruel, but if he can develop a nice six-to-twelve curveball, think of all the money!
I thought of that too. Some uncle I am.
