Dodgers - The He-Man Metaphor

For the first half of the season, the Dodgers played like, well, the Dodgers (of recent memory). Or maybe they were just taking a cue from Andruw Jones. (By the way, I predict the term "jonesing" will replace the "Mendoza Line" by 2010)

Then for the second half, the Dodgers played like the $200 million Yankees (of recent memory), poised to get flattened in the playoffs by a medicore team with good pitching.

Now we're all wondering what will be the next face of this extraordinarily bipolar Jekyll and Hyde team. Kind of reminds me of...

And while we're on the topic of He-Man, let me remind all of you that the Artist Formerly Known as Prince Adam was more than just a deterrent for Moss Man and a steadfast supporter of Ram Man.

Thanks for the PSA - And now you know, and knowing is half the battle - GI JOE! (oops, wrong cartoon).

Cora - remember, your body's your temple.

Yet another post that grabs the Man-E Faces label. Will this ever end (even by the power of Greyskull)?

If Cora's body is his temple, Andruw Jones' body must be the Taj Mahal.
