Dan Haren (5-3, 3.28) vs. Hector Noesi (0-4, 5.83).
Dan Haren went to Pepperdine University over in Malibu. But what I don't understand is how Hector, who was raised in the Dominican Republic, has a problem with one of our city's big colleges. But "Noesi" it is, and I'm sure that's not going to appeal to the home crowd tonight, watching Noesi's first career start against the Dodgers.
Sure, Haren may be a little shaky of late, going 1-3 with a 4.35 ERA since his 4-0 start this year. But Noesi is worse: he hasn't had a win in his last 19 starts (or 40 appearances), going 0-14 with a 5.87 ERA since May 2012. As the White Sox likely won't be giving away the game again tonight, we had better hope that the bats show up tonight...along with the mob of angry Trojan fans.

It's a DAY HAM lineup!
D Gordon, 2B
A Ethier, CF
Y Puig, RF
H Ramirez, SS
A Gonzalez, 1B
M Kemp, LF
Figgins, 3B
Droopy, C
Haren, P
If we can get Turner or Uribe in the 7-hole, and Ellis back from the DL, we have a shot at DAY HAM JAZ (when Greinke pitches)
Giants down 4-3 in Cincy, through 4 innings
Wish I knew how to embed this, but here's a nice video of the top 5 moments from Puig's first year (ESPN).
Dayham come and me wan' go home
Happy 1 year anniversary Yasiel!! Looking forward to the bat flip tonight.
Well, fuck.
Let's go HanRam, the H of dayHam
Yasiel with a solid double to celebrate his anniversary.
At least Dee had a good AB. Concerned that his BA has plummeted to .279 however.
Anyone else notice mlb.com gameday is way different? Much bigger boxes on the left and right, much bigger font size?
Han Ram works the walk, so it's up to A-Gon
And of course, we choke the opportunity. 2-0 through 1
oh, and the score bar for mlb.com gameday is now on the bottom
Reds beat gnats 8-3.
SF lost 8-3. Giants made four errors; Bailey beats Timmah (all 8 ER attributed to Timmah, tied for the worst in his career).
@karen: wow, that was eerie
Kempy with a leadoff single
Figgins walks, then Droopy basically sacrifices both men over (more or less). Here's Haren.
@Saxy...You know what they say about great minds...
Pretty smooth of Haren to earn a walk. Nice job Dee to sac in one run.
Come on, Ethier!
Not exactly sure why Dee has been so first-pitch-swinging of late
Dammit Ethier (.253)
2-1 Sox through two
Dodgers wasting opportunities all over the place, now 0-for-3 with RISP
Nobody is on the Noesi GT
Oh geez. I left the room for just a minute and its now 3-1. Shit.
Hello Kitty Bobblehead night at DS. I just don't get that whole Hello Kitty thing. I guess that makes me officially old. Or not weird.
4-1 Sox.
Epale Spanky!!
Dodger game on WGN! Though it does mean listening to the biggest homers in baseball, outside of Boston anyway.
Good find CliffB!
How badly do I wanna see a Dodger game? I'll listen to Hawk Harrelson. Come on, Figgins, get something started!
Epale Karen!
Weak sauce,Kemp.
I agree,Beefpile. #WGN announcers
Dee Gordon, now 0-for-4 (with an RBI). Brutal.
Including this game, in Dee Gordon's last twenty games, he has only had one multi-hit game. His BA has fallen from .331 to .275.
And here we go, down to the ninth inning, down 4-1, and 2-3-4 batters up.
I hope Beli pitches for the Sox like he pitched for us. If so, this game ain't over.
Dammit, Ethier.
Beli pitching like Cy Young.
3 routine grounders to 2nd. 7 pitches for Beli. WTF!
PGT up.
