Tonight is 10,000 Win Pin Night at Dodger Stadium, where the 31-29 Dodgers, who trail the Giants by seven games, are — surprise! — still searching for some offensive consistency. A victory would give them the series win against the White Sox. Beckett only lasted five innings in his previous start, so it seems reasonable to expect him to throw another no-hitter tonight, perhaps even a perfect game.
Downtown L.A. is the place to be — because if you don't have Time-Warner, you ain't watching the Dodgers. The Kings certainly welcome your support, though (the game's on NBC). Go, Los Angeles!
