Zack Greinke (9-4, 2.89) vs. Lance Lynn (8-5, 2.90)
Possibility for four-game win streak: over.
For now. The new streak starts TODAY, people. There are 15 games until the All Star Game break according to the SoSG research department, so plenty of time to get a four-game streak if not a fifteen-game streak. (Baseball Gods: I mean a winning one, not a losing one!)
Let's get this one for Fred's Brim and Mrs. Fred's Brim, who welcomed the newest little Dodger to their family yesterday!

Baby Brim fits right in here!
Congrats Brim!

At the Yard, Vinny!
Congrats Fred's Brim from a prison in Turkey
Dusty getting to see a fun one out at the yard.
Open up the floodgates, man! 7-0 in the second and Lance Lynn isn't out of it yet
Gordon with his second double of the day. Could have been a triple, except Greinke was ahead of him on the basepaths!
11 hits for the Dodgers. Second and third with one out in the third, Dodgers up 7-1
Puig lines it straight to Carpenter for out #2
Thom Brenneman giving Eric Karros some crap, while showing an Oldtimers Game clip with Karros "running" to first and being thrown out by 10 miles.
"You haven't lost a step!"
Uribe grounds to short for the third out.
7-1 LA through three innings.
Man it looks like a beautiful day out there. I'm jealous, guys and girls.
Greinke gets Adams for strike three looking. One out in the fourth.
Cards have two hits so far: Double from Adams, and a solo HR from Carpenter (two out in the third).
Gordon, Ethier, and Ellis all have multi-hit games for us.
What happened to Turner such that Rojas had to sub for him?
Damn Fox blacking out the video highlights
Uribe with a decent defensive play on a high-hopping grounder to third. Two out
Molina flies to Puig for the last out (and looks like he got confused that this was the third out, too).
7-1 through 3.5
Wow, Kemp just poked that golf ball for a single, on a 1-2 pitch. Nice job, Matty. That looked effortless.
Brenneman fellating Adam Wainwright right here during an in-game interview.
I mean, Wainwright seems like a good enough guy and everything, and is pretty articulate, but Thom has to get out of Adam's pants here.
Ethier Ks on a full count.
Two out, Kemp on first
Rojas doesn't last very long.
7-1 Dodgers through four innings.
Sax...Turner either started cramping or had a hammy issue or something like that while running from first to second on his double. I had to run a quick errand so don't know if any announcement has been made.
@karen: thanks for the update.
They played a clip with Stan Conte totally up in HanRam's grill, and Mattingly having to help Conte out as Hanley didn't want to listen to whatever Stan was saying.
I hope Hanley isn't hurt.
Lester has a no-hitter through five innings (Yankees vs. Red Sox)
so Brazil, Colombia advance
C'mon Greinke, get Mellis
Mellis check swing, but not enough. K.
Greinke with 7 Ks now
Descalso bloops one into center, so fist and second with one out and Cardinals P Greenwood up.
Now Brenneman fellates mlb.com's customer service
Unbelievable, this guy
Greenwood with the sac bunt. Second and third, two out. Come on, Greinke
Dammit. I started my Time Machine backup, and now mlb.tv is choppier than a Benihana meal.
Greinke gets the K for the final out. Carpenter fooled looking. Nice.
Greinke with 8 Ks through five.
Marvel Puzzle Quest is a good game, but now that they've done this "True Healing" update, it sucks a lot more. Original Black Widow isn't as powerful as she used to be.
BOOOOOO
Now they're bagging on the Oyster Pubes rule about no plate blocking. I agree. It's stupid.
Gordon flies to right for the third out. First 1-2-3 inning for StL all day.
7-1 through five.
Yeah, the new to block or not to block the plate rule is way to vague.
Greinke with a sweet sixth, very easy
Puig out by a hair at first, on a grounder to third.
Not earning a lot of NikeFuel this morning, watching this game on the computer
Urine just looking like he's poking the ball, not swinging.
Uribe is 0-for-2 now having just grounded to second.
Karros with a supportive, but balanced, perspective on Puig.
Into the seventh. Greinke with 9 Ks, to start the inning.
Liner to Puig for the first out in the seventh.
Grounder to second for out #2
Mellis is bating .195 this year. Brutal!
Greinke is batting .161 fwiw.
And Mellis Ks to end the inning. Greinke with 10 Ks.
On to the stretch!
"A 9.5-game deficit has turned into a 2-game deficit"
Oh shit, Maholm is in!
And he's gotten two Ks on six pitches
Carpenter JUST thrown out by Rojas. That was really close at first. On to the bottom of the eighth!
AJ with a ground out to third.
Clint Robinson, ladies and gentlemen.
Clint was just called up. First AB, at least of the year.
Robinson reaches on an error!
E-1
Gordon up with a man on first and one out. Gordon is 2-for-4 with a double and RBI
Adams feeds Fornataro with an underhand throw to first, and Fornataro acts like he's being thrown a grenade. Runners at first and second.
Puig with a single to right, so it's Rancho Ardiendo!
Gordon wins the "Game Changer" award for the game.
Here's Uribe
Uribe with a two-RBI shot up the middle, scoring Robinson and Gordon!
9-1 LA, men on first and second, one out
mo runs
and...my MLB.tv feed has buffering issues.
Adrian Gonzalez GIDP to end the inning.
Man, if we can just get A-Gon back on track...
9-1 through eight full innings.
two out, two on in the ninth for Chris Perez
Perez hits Peralta, to load the bases for today, and piss off the Cardinals for tomorrow.
Bases loaded for St Louis.
Perez with a 2-2 count to Mellis, looking like a heart attack as usual
PGT up!
