A lot of similarities between last night's game and tonight's. Strong starting pitching (Beckett: seven shutout innings, eight K's), Dee getting his hands dirty (1 for 3, 1 RBI, 2 R), a two-run lead going into the ninth (Hanley had two RBIs, AGon one; Malholm and League combined to allow two runs in the eighth).
But Kenley ate his Wheaties this morning (and perhaps some friendly pitching advice helped). He allowed a single but got FCQ to fly out and struck out Denorfia to end the game. Order is...restored?
Best of all, those lame "Beat L.A." giveaway shirts have been rendered useless. Toss 'em.
