The Rockies, previously our benefactors, are now the enemy. Colorado completed their first three-game sweep of the Giants at AT&T Park for the first time since 2008, and helped the Dodgers climb from 9.5 to 6.5 games out.
But now the Rockies are a mere two games behind the Dodgers themselves, and they've got a rookie phenom on the mound in their 12th-highest ranked prospect, the lefty Matzek.
Meanwhile, the Dodger,s are looking to rebound from yesterday's mistake-plagued loss and start a new winning streak that will likely end at two or three games. At least they haven't gone on a losing streak lately. Ha ha, knock on wood!
