Chad Billingsley was challenged by his command all night (5 BB, 4 Ks, and 4 H over 8.0 IP), but still went deep enough into the game to watch an eighth-inning RBI single from Rafael Furcal (of all people) and earn the victory. Nails were trimmed by spectators watching Javy Guerra's 2-HBP, bases-loaded-with-none-out highwire act in the ninth, but consecutive strikeouts of Kyle Phillips and Will Venable gave Guerra his third save of the season and the Dodgers our second consecutive win. Day game tomorrow, boys, so be ready!

Mmmm... Shutout goodness...
A win tomorrow makes it technically a winning streak.
Brian Wilson loses the game in the ninth for the Giants.
Dodgers climb to 11 games back.
Wash yer beard, Brian!
