Croatian Water Polo Semifinals GT: VK Jug Dubrovnik @ Split

Traffic on Saturdays can be light sometimes, and we know how many SoSG readers follow other sporting events here and there. So here's an update on the Croatian water polo championship. As reported by one of our readers:

VK Jug Dubrovnik is currently in the semifinal in the Croatian championship league, and if they win it, they will have the title of being the champions of Croatia. In the semifinals they are playing a team "Mornari" (sailors) twice in order to move on to the finals.

The first game was played on Saturday, April 9th, and JUG pounded Mornari 14:4 in its home game. According to the wrapup commentary, this was no big surprise, and Jug Dubrovnik is expected to win the next game easily too, which is on April 16th (this time it's an away game).

Sandro Sukno is the captain of the team, and he scored 5 points in the game, and another guy named Seman scored 4 points, to lead the JUGgernauts.

You can read more about it here. If you can read Croatian.
