Karina Updates Us on Dodgers in Venezuela

Big thanks to SoSG fave, Aguilas de Zulia superfan Karina, for this update on Dodgers playing in the Venezuelan Winter League:

Bravos de Margarita, on their playoff roster, have Carlos Monasterios and Ronald Belisario, and they added Jay Gibbons for the postseason. Alberto Bastardo, Dodgers minor leaguer (I think he was with the Isotopes), also is a relief pitcher with that team. If the Bravos make it to the Finals, I'll think someone is mocking me! ;)

Hector Gimenez was playing with his team, the Tigres, against my Aguilas in Maracaibo on Sunday and Monday, but he was bad. His numbers in two games: 8 AB, 1 R, 2 H, 1 RBI, 5 K. My Aguilas just won the first two games of the playoffs! I'm so full of faith I can't believe myself ;)

Go Aguilas! Rancho Ardiendo on to victory!

Thanks for the update, K! I'm glad Monkey Boy got a chance to get some ABs after all.

ROBBIE ALOMAR AND BLYLEVEN ARE IN!!!

Blyleven? The entire SABR community has just climaxed simultaneously. It's about time (for the former, though it might conceivably be extended to include the latter).
