Random dribs and drabs (not all of them Dodgers-related):
- Jon Weisman thinks the Dodgers will be mentioned in the hunt but end up shooting for third place in the division, short of the Giants. (ESPN.com)
- Closer Jonathan Broxton has one month to steady his hand, says Tony Jackson. (ESPN.com)
- The "Young Guns" are about to descend upon Camelback Ranch, and with Clayton Kershaw, Chad Billingsley, Kenley Jansen, Blake Hawksworth, Scott Elbert, Travis Schlichting, John Ely, Jon Link, Javy Guerra and Luis Vasquez all expected to show, the only thing we're wondering is, who gets the tippy-top bunk. (Dodgers.com)
- Jay Cutler has a sprained MCL, but Michael Wilbon is still calling him out. Oh yeah, well you try and do PTI with a torn MCL, you ivory tower reporter hiding behind a Smith-Corona! (ESPN.com)
- Despite the slashed price, don't buy this house. (Gawker.com)

So we shouldn't buy Jay Cutler's house? I'm confused.
If the Bears had a halfway respectable O-line, Cutler's manliness would not be a topic of discussion.
I refuse to acknowledge the possibility of the Dodgers finishing third. Let's get into Spring Training and regular season to see.
Optimism is on full mode in spite the uninteresting and dull off-season.
Nice Smith-Corona reference.
Although I think he has moved on to an IBM Selectric II.
