Rod Barajas (2010 salary with Mets: $500,000; 2011 salary with Dodgers: $3.25M) is not one of the 20 most overpaid players signed this winter, writes Jon Heyman of SI.com:
The Dodgers actually have more players in the "Underpays" column than the "Overpays" (although this list obviously doesn't include deferred payments). A nice article to check out for those of us who scratch our heads at some of Ned Colletti's deals.

Ned is the king of underpaying.
That's why we won't have a potent offense in 2011.
Ned the Underpaying Gnome.
Step 1: Underpay less-than-desirable players
Step 2: ?????
Step 3: Profit!
I'm guessing step 2 is: Kick your team's fans in the teeth and take their money
Gnomeo and Juli-Ned
I just read Heyman's piece. I can't give any credence to it. First, he puts three Pirate signings on the overpay list. The Pirates haven't overpaid for anyone since Derek "Operation Shutdown" Bell and Pat Meares more than 10 years ago. And how the hell is Dioner Navarro on the underpay list unless he's being paid in peanuts and candy bars on a minor league contract?
Where is the list for deferment overpays. I think we are still paying the Brave
I think we overpaid for Uribe. We shouldn't be paying any Giants or Braves, sorry rafa, I remember the old NL east battles.
I agree that we may have overpaid for Uribe. However, I'm glad we have him and we needed to fill that position.
From another perspective, the market bore his contract. He would likely have gotten similar money somewhere else.
In Rod We Trust!
It's 3 months til Opening Day
Ned is prone to overpay
It started with Schmidt
Who couldn't pitch for shit
Please, not the same for Uribe
