How else to explain this?
The NFL is ephemeral. An architectural design degree from Stanford is FOREVER.
(In all seriousness, way to go, Andrew! Go Cardinal!)

ESPN would kill itself if the NFL and the NBA both had lockouts in the same year. They've bet the hole damn pot on both leagues and they'd have nothing but college ball left in the autumn.
Ryan Mallett declares for the draft. I'll always remember his last pass.
(cries)
That was indeed a bummer, Dusty!
I wouldn't want to wear those shitty Panthers uniforms either
and Bills, please, please, pleeeeeaaaase don't draft Cam Newton
Shit, dude. If he wants to trade me straight up for his rookie signing bonus, he can have MY architectural degree.
On the flipside, I'd be okay with giving up a year of my salary to get a year of college back.
Especially a year of Andrew Luck's college experience.
Which I'm guessing differed from mine in at least some ways.
[insert obvious comment to EK here that would reveal information about EK that Sax knows but can't post]
Sax, you must be referring to how I was the starting QB for a Top-5 team and the projected #1 NFL pick in college, but unlike Luck I decided to leave school and enter the draft?
Yeah. Because that's the one obvious difference between my college experience and Andrew Luck's. Everything else was more or less the same.
I'd like to go back to college, but do it the Rodney Dangerfield way.
If you throw a party and Oingo Boingo shows up, I want in.
DEAD MAN'S PARTY BISHES!!
And I'd like to welcome back Bushwick Bill to FB's avi.
In other news, Pete Carroll feels Andrew Luck is making a huge mistake by not entering the draft (so he could trade up and take him in the first round).
I hope somebody can help me straighten out my Longfellow
Ahhhh yeahhh.
Holy shit! I can't imagine majoring in architecture AND playing football. Kid must have no spare time. Godspeed, Mr. Luck...still can't bring myself to root for Stanford, though.
@EM
Well, I don't believe it's the "I live in the studio 28 2/3 hours a day" kind of architecture program, but still.
I did have I few professors that I felt would have benefited from a horse-collar tackle during crits, though.
