Contest: Name that Los Angeles Movie

Looking through an old magazine (or perchance it was a comic book), I came across this gem of an advertisement. One that really nailed what Los Angeles was like back in 1997

I'll give one hint: The movie came out not long before 1997, making the bleak view of Los Angeles all the more brilliant. The winner gets a prize of very little cash - but very high emotional - value.

Speaking of movies formulating 98 percent of my fears about Los Angeles... even after living here for 12 Years...I'm still nervous any time I leave a Lakers game thanks to Grand Canyon.
