In the Beginning

Best article in the World Wide Internet today - ESPN's coverage of the evolution of Madden NFL. Ah, the memories...

Don't think I even remembered this bygone concept, which was BRILLIANT! Click below to watch an ambulance end more lives than it saved.

I'm starting a letter writing campaign to bring the ambulance back. Especially for this guy...

Alas, I don't play Madden so much nowadays. Time is short, and I'm still more partial to John Elway's Quarterback (cause the arcade game had a then revolutionary two controllers) and Tecmo Bowl.

Impressive, 1067 rushing yards, 77 points, 1 first down.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if a game line like that occurs against the Seahawks this season.

Ahhhh video games.

I use to love on TB if you picked the right offensive play on defense the offense line would explode.

I also want them to bring the baseball brawl back ala Bases Loaded.

Delino- you'll be thrilled to know that the only gaming system hooked up to my brother's 70 inch TV is an NES with Tecmo Bowl wedged into the console.
