Voix Pour le Bison

First things first: Click here. Vote for Matt Kemp. Multiple times.

Why? Matt "The Bison" Kemp is one of five finalists in the "2009 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote," up against Cristian "No H" Guzman of the Nats, Mark "No Nickname" Reynolds of the D'backs, Pablo "Kung Fu Panda" Sandoval of the Giants and Shane "The Flyin' Hawaiian" Victorino of the Phils.

Surprisingly, the Dodgers will have at least three representatives (but likely no starters) on the National League squad. Here's the NL roster:

  • C Yadier Molina, STL
  • 1B Albert Pujols, STL
  • 2B Chase Utley, PHI
  • SS Hanley Ramirez, FLA
  • 3B David Wright, NYM
  • OF Carlos Beltran, NYM
  • OF Ryan Braun, MIL
  • OF Raul Ibanez, PHI

  • Heath Bell, SD
  • Chad Billingsley, LAD
  • Jonathan Broxton, LAD
  • Matt Cain, SF
  • Francisco Cordero, CIN
  • Ryan Franklin, STL
  • Dan Haren, ARI
  • Josh Johnson, FLA
  • Ted Lilly, CHC
  • Tim Lincecum, SF
  • Jason Marquis, COL
  • Francisco Rodriguez, NYM
  • Johan Santana, NYM

  • C Brian McCann, ATL
  • 1B Prince Fielder, MIL
  • 1B Adrian Gonzalez, SD
  • 1B Ryan Howard, PHI
  • 2B Orlando Hudson, LAD
  • 2B Freddy Sanchez, PIT
  • SS Miguel Tejada, HOU
  • 3B Ryan Zimmerman, WSH
  • OF Brad Hawpe, COL
  • OF Hunter Pence, HOU
  • OF Justin Upton, ARI

How many times will it let you vote? I've voted about 15 times now and it doesn't appear to block me.

Is this what the fans in St.Louis did to get Molina on the starting squad?

I haven't received an upper limit either. Cancel my appointments!

Hey Orel, I posted this on my blog. You should do the same. It's a Matt Kemp widget. Everyone keep voting!

Deadspin has a "Vote Flyin' Hawaiian" campaign going. This shall not stand.

Josh S, you can vote for Victorino's body, you just can't vote for his head. (repeat wth gestures about 50 times on national television)

1) I haven't hit a limit, either. I'm well north of 25, but probably below 50. Anyone know the limit?

2) I might be hallucinating, but the 5-digit "captcha"-like numbers seem to be repeating. Hmm...this makes this...hackable...

3) Why do they keep checking in that little box that allows mlb to send commercial emails to the voter? I mean, I keep unchecking the box, but it's really stupid that they keep checking it back with every vote. Idiots.

78 and counting. (created a "numbers" game with the little boy the girlfriend is babysitting)
