Hah, I'd say bad start James; nice finish, in regard to that at-bat. After the two first pitches I was hoping for a past ball so Furcal could at least score from third. When he hit that ball it took me a few seconds to believe that it was actually going out. I was thinking, "Things like this happen for the Lakers; not the Dodgers." I am stoked and cannot wait until tomorrow.

James Loney joins Jose Lima in the pantheon of recent Dodger postseason winners.

Let's hope there are some more inductees!

I can't believe what just happened, and to bring Maddux in at the end was just perfect.

Maybe I was just to exuberant to notice, but I did not see the Cub fans throw any of the home run shots back on to the field. If thats the case, aren't they tempting fate and the curses they supposedly bare?

langston, the mlb.com gameday clip shows Manny's golf-shot HR being thrown back.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

langston, here's a potentially related article: "Cubs fan arrested for throwing ball at Dodgers player"

Yeah its no wonder I didn't see the one ball thrown back. He waited until the bottom of the seventh to throw it at Manny.

If I was working for the Cubs, I would suggest that all fans remove belts and shoe laces as they enter Wrigley field tonight in fear of what harm they may inflict on thereselves or others.
