Pierre seeks playing time via trade (Dodgers.com)
we wholeheartedly agree.
no Juan don't go. no no stop.don't go.horrible.Iamsosad.do not go.
With Pierre wanting to play somewhere else, and Jones not wanting to come back to LA because of smart fans, we've got plenty of money to sign Manny with!Make it happen Colletti.
I will miss him. Sorry guys. He seems like an ok fella. He just doesn't have the arm. But always seem to get on base which is more than I can say for some of the other veterans. Never any drama with him.I wish him well.
Cindy, the biggest complaint with Juan Pierre is that he doesn't, in fact, get on base.In two seasons with the Dodgers, he has an OBP of .329 (.331 the first year, .327 this year). I don't know where to look up how that ranks against other leadoff types in the league, but I would be willing to bet it's nowhere near the top.Juan Pierre does seem like a nice guy. I'm nice, too, but I can't play major league baseball. So that's two things I have in common with Juan Pierre.
Nice guy. Emptiest .300 batting average in history. (Well maybe not quite but it's gotta be close.)
