Things Beginning to Feel Like 2006

From "Notes: Dodgers' Repko suffers strain: Oft-injured outfielder optimistic current injury only mild" by Ken Gurnick at Dodgers.com:

VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Jason Repko, whose injury-plagued career includes missing more than two months last year with a bad ankle sprain, left Saturday's split-squad game against Florida in Jupiter after he suffered a strained right groin muscle making a running catch in the outfield.

Repko, who doubled twice and stole a base earlier in the game, said he was optimistic the strain was mild because he felt only slight discomfort after returning to Dodgertown.

"We'll know more tomorrow," he said. "When I felt it twinge, I sort of let it go limp and didn't really run the last two steps. Now I have to let it calm down. I don't think I will be out long."

Guess Jason got jealous of Marlon and Rafael spending all that quality time resting.

Naw, can't be 2006 with all the kids a year older and ready to step in immediately. :)
