Wow - a lovely movie. And yet, it left we feeling sad, lonely, and ready for moonshine

Who sings the song, by the way?

Anonymous said...

Nice, but it doesn't matter because its over.

I know Johnny Cash and June Carter did a version - and the baseball/country connection gets stronger.

Pixar can hear the footsteps, baby.

Anyways it's June Carter and I think either Johnny Cash or Carl Smith.

EK, that video rocks. Like Pixar, your use of lighting is excellent, and it looks like real hair!

Nicely done. I'm going to back to my self-imposed exile.

That was sweet, nice job EK.

Okay, I think I remember the song from "Walk the Line." Unless it wasn't in it, in which case I don't.

I want to know why tomko and lurch aren't in the part where it talks about arms

Orel said...

Or why Tomko's wife isn't in the part where it talks about female distraction.

Steve Sax said...

Should there be an apostrophe in "time's"?

Or is it referring to the multiple times that the dodgers have wasted RISP?

Steve Sax said...

It's still a wicked sweet video though. Well done, EK.

Orel, coincidentally WTL was on TV last night and the song is indeed in there.

Orel said...

So Reese Witherspoon becomes indelibly connected to the Dodgers' collapse of 2007.

Eric Karros said...

I hear Witherspoon, Dushku, and Milano will play witches in an upcoming TV series called 'Cursed'

Orel said...

They'll play witches named Insomnia, Insatiable and Zenitram.

Eric Karros said...

and thanks Sax for the spelling correction...and the complement

Last night Delino and Steve Sax had dinner together with the wives/companions/hostbodies. And Delino's wife, when hearing of the name of the accompanying song to this video, said:

"Shouldn't that be the accompanying song for the whole blog?"

Nice. Skewered, by a rapier wit.
