Dodgers: Stults had only a brief lapse against Colorado, he otherwise appeared overpowering as he allowed two hits in six innings with nine strikeouts. And now he returns to the scene of his other Major League victory, accomplished in the pressure of last year's pennant race. Stults seems to rise to the occasion, as he's pitched better for the Dodgers than he did in the Minor Leagues.Mets: El Duque has been spectacular for the Mets in the past month, pitching into the late innings and always giving his team a chance to win. They're 11-1 in his last 12 starts, though Hernandez has not received the decision every time. He said that he doesn't mind large pitch counts and thinks that fatigue from long outings is mostly mental. He avoids that by not paying attention to his count.

Nice throw by Alomar nails Pierre at 2nd.
Consolation: if he didn't attempt, he would've been erased anyways as Ethier followed with a perfect DP grounder.
But maybe Ethier gets a different pitch if Pierre's steal is successful.
Yeah probably a hanging curve and a 2-0 lead. Damn you Pierre.
Alomar's arm is on fire
Watching Jose Reyes in this series reminds me of what a leadoff hitter is supposed to look like.
Furcal may be able to blame injuries, but I hope Pierre is taking notes.

Stults gave it all he had, but it's 3-0 Mets through five full.

Why do we keep putting Roberto Hernandez out there??? Every time he enters the game we lose.
