Post-Game 67 Thread: Un4tunate

"Nice try, mother4kers!"

REDS 5, DODGERS 0
RANGERS 2, KINGS 1

The Dodgers' first 4-game win streak of the season will have to wait, probably until late September, when the Giants will have already clinched the division. Cueto dominated today, striking out 12 over six innings. Kemp gets ejected in the second and Ryu suffers his first road loss of the season.

The Kings' Stanley Cup celebration will also have to wait. They went down 2-0 again but couldn't pull out their patented come-from-behind magic, as the Rangers went into hold-on-for-dear-life defense in the third period and eked out a win by literal inches.

New win streaks start tomorrow (Dodgers) and Friday (Kings, at home).
