On this Fourth of July holiday, the Dodgers got fireworks from Matt Kemp (2-for-5, including a 2-run HR) and Adrian Gonzalez (4-for-5, including a solo HR and a double). But many of the game's other explosions came at the expense of Chris Capuano, who lasted only 4.1 IP and gave up 7 H, 6 R, and 5 ER.
Oh, and Brandon League also got shelled again: 0.1 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 1 BB and 0 Ks. His ERA is 6.37. No place like Coors Field to get a pitcher's head back in the game! Brilliant move.
Dodgers lose the finale but take the series, and fall back to third place, a game behind Colorado, and 3.5 GB the Diamondbacks. Off to San Francisco for three this weekend!

Dodgers went 2-for-12 with RISP and left 11 on base.
Dusty went 4 Dos Equis, double gin and tonic, scratch margarita, two glasses of syrah, another beer, and a Moscow mule.
So did Brandon League
Now we have a chance to win four before Cap pitches again.
We have to take advantages of these non-Cap games.
Wow, Simi Valley firework malfunction. Yikes.
Sorry I didn't see the game; oh, wait. No I'm not. Let's kick some SF ass today.
