Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood was brilliant today. Fortunately for the Dodgers, Zack Greinke was brillianter. After the Dodgers scratched out a first-inning run, Greinke proceeded to retire 13 straight before giving up a single to Todd Helton in the 5th. While Chatwood limited the Dodgers to four hits, Greinke held the Rockies to two hits en route to a CGSHO.
Zack was also merciful, disposing of Colorado in a mere two hours, 17 minutes. The only bummer? Mark Ellis left the game after fouling a ball off his leg in the 8th. Get better soon, Mellis!
Dodgers are ensured of at least a series split. Congrats, Zack!

Let's finish this series and first half with a win tomorrow
I hope Ricky can be as good as he was in Az
Go Brewers!
Another gritty win
Miguel Montero, playing the game the right way, of course, just broke up Lohse's perfecto with a solo shot.
1-1, Top 5.
Brewers up 3-1!
Giants unfort up as well
Didja hear about Tim Llinceum's NO-HITTER?!
Wait...brillianter? The English major/copy editor in me is sobbing.
:-)
Lincecum at 6,327 pitches with three outs left.
Shit, D'backs winning 5-4 in the 8th.
So many Giants fans at Petco.
Padres fans rooting for Lincecum. Pathetic.
Eh.
148 pitches. That might backfire eventually.
The Giants. My horror movie.
Giants win, D'backs win.
More stress in the second half of the season I foresee.
Bill Shaikin retweeting Nic J and correcting his grammar!
I'm fine with the Lincecum no-hitter. 148 pitches, plus the fact that he's giving them hope that they should continue throwing him out there in the starting rotation.
And kershaw kicking his a&$
Where the hell has Nic J been?
