Post-Game 100 Thread: A .169 Hitter Downs The Nats

DODGERS 7, NATIONALS 6

Rafael Furcal, who has been largely awful this year, hit his first walk-off hit since 2000 to give the Dodgers their first lead of the game when it counted the most. The Dodgers' win highlights multiple-hit performances from Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, Juan Rivera, and Furcal, using every position player in the course of the game. And though Ted Lilly wasn't great from the mound (5.0 IP, 8 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 6 Ks), his three RBI (one off a sac bunt and two off a double) kept the Dodgers in the game.

Juan Uribe is now batting .204.

Rubber match tomorrow.

I don't think I can make party anymore. I might have to lock myself in the bathroom with some 1981 and 1988 October Sports Illustrateds to get me ummm in the mood.

Hopefully that includes the Kathy Ireland swimsuit issue

Oh, making extra sweet party since I didn't have to go into my Loney-y job today!

Jason, I do think that your job still beats the hell out if many of our jobs. Not mine, of course, but others.
