Clayton Kershaw (8-3, 2.93) vs. Jered Weaver (9-4, 1.97).
It may only be the half-way point of the season, but it's the merciful end to 2011 interleague play, continuing with this final series against our "rivals," the Angels. And like Groundhog Day, we've seen this matchup before. Literally, as in last weekend's 3-2 win.
You remember that game, right? Kershaw got his typical nonexistent run support? Bing! Weaver shut us down over seven innings of seven-hit, one-run ball? Bing, again! As if there was any moment we'd like to replay from this season, the starters' first head-to-head matchup would not be it. But here it comes: A gust of wind. A dog barks. Cue the truck.

Quiet tonight.
Ugh. Angel announcers.
Weird. This is the first road interleague start for Kid K this season.
Upside? He'll be rested every inning.
Downside? We lose his awesome bat.
Izzat Shaggy in the dugout seats?
Sorry, Orel, I'm out of pocket tonight!
And I'm all out of Pocky. Dammit.
Somebody post the line up for fucks sake!
Game over.
Why does Wells own Kershaw?
Yo, Shaggy2, you got Kemp to GIDP. You didn't win Game 7 of the World Series.

Ouch.
At least it was short.
I saw one glimpse of the game and I could have sworn Carrot Top was sitting in a seat behind home plate.
