Dodgers' Hit Parade Brings First Place to Team, Prize to Quadsevens

The Dodgers' weekend sweep of the Diamondbacks not only brought them into first place, but it also allowed SoSG reader quadsevens to win the Off-Day Puzzle #10 Prize Lottery!

Hit counts for the Dodgers were 10, 6, and 8 hits, or 24 in aggregate for the series; 24 divided by zero four leaves no remainder, corresponding with quadsevens' number. And your prize is...a pair of Dodgers wristbands, from a stadium giveaway years ago!

Quadsevens and neeebs will be the best-accessorized Dodger fans in town!

Q7, please send us an email (using the link on the sidebar) with your name and snail mail address, and we'll get this incredible prize out in the mail on Monday. (SoSG not responsible for items lost in the mail.) Thanks to all four of you for participating, and look for the next Off-Day Puzzle on September 11!

Woohoo! Thanks to the SOSG crew and to Chin Lung Hu for the bloop single in the bottom of the 8th today. I'll be watching the mail next week for those sweet looking wristbands.

Be very weary and careful of the Power of the Lottery Prize. You will have a great burden to bare in order to keep the karma going.

neeebs, the irony of you adding an extra "e" to "wary" is hilarious. Unless, of course, you want Q7 to be tired...

Q7, package went out in this morning's mail. Thanks again for participating and for reading SoSG!

Neeebs and Quad, you're responsible to work good karma...if by any chance, you run out of ideas, give a shout down here, ok?

Congrats Quad, for your prize, you deserve it for being so good at puzzles...

Dividing by zero? I guess in this case that's better than if the numerator had been zero.

Wary/Weary.

Shows you how much I need a spellchecker.

But then again, I can't even spell my own name without the extra "e".

Karina: When I shout "down here" I'm usually shouting at El Diablo. I hope you are not anywhere near him.

EK, thanks for the headsup. You're like The Fixx here!

btw EK, if the numerator had been zero, Q7 still would have won...

Yes, but we'd be 4.5 games back.

Anyways, as demonstrated we have the advantage of being able to go back and correct our typos/mistakes. When a reader like neeebs inadvertently adds an extra letter, he can't go back and fixx it.
