Tied at 1, top 2.
Arizona scored in the top of the first with a Conor Jackson double to score Drew.
St. Louis got a run of its own when Webb balked Schumacher in\, but stranded Pujols.
1-1 tie, through three full frames
Stephen Drew just knocked in one run, but they nailed Brandon Webb at the plate as he tried to score from first. Hopefully it was a collision at the plate.
Webb comes up to bat in the sixth and flies out. He has scattered 5 Cardinals hits over five innings. AZ leads, 2-1.
3-1 AZ, top 6
Dammit, it's Drew again, with a solo homer. He is singlehandedly killing the Dodgers, even from afar
3-2 AZ, bot 7. Men on 1st & 3rd for Pujols....
AAGGGHHH, looks like the cards aren't going to help us out. Jerks.
Well, that teaches us not to scoreboard watch. If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself...
The Cards are going to roll over and play dead this series.
