The Adventures of Dodger Duck: Episode 5 / Beijing Olympics

The continuing adventures of Dodger Duck today have him recapping his recent trip to Beijing, where he watched the Olympics.

First, Dodger Duck ended up talking smack to a somewhat docile Yao Ming, presaging the US team's steamrolling to mens' basketball victory.

Then, Dodger Duck opted to take on Huanhuan, one of the five Beijing Olympics mascots. The conversation started out fine, with Huanhuan giving tips on his flaming hair that might be a helpful tip for the hirsute Manny Ramirez, who is on fire with the bat. Dodger Duck appreciated the hygiene tips. But when the discussion devolved into mockery about the mascot disaster Izzy, representing the US' most recent Summer Olympics, you could see the feathers on the back of Dodger Duck's neck stand up. If not for the Dodgers' historic rivalry with the Atlanta Braves in the old NL West (four-division MLB), which interlaced innate triggers of distate for Atlanta in Dodger Duck's blood, there might have been a scene at the Olympics. And you know what would have happened to Dodger Duck then. Gulp.

Instead, Dodger Duck saw fit to just hang out in the airport lounge and enjoy his post-Olympics buzz. London 2012, Dodger Duck will have pictures from the Olympic Village!

Sax, one day airport security somewhere is gonna detain you for suspicious activity. I want to be there when you try to explain what you're doing.
