The last time the Dodgers swept a four-game series against the Phillies? 1962. Consider last weekend's Giants series a distant memory. We get the Brewers this weekend...but not CC Sabathia. Or Ben Sheets. Mood: hopeful!
Random rantings and ravings about the Los Angeles Dodgers, written by a small consortium of rabid Dodger fans. With occasional comments on baseball, entertainment, pop culture, and life in general.

In addition, according to ESPN:
"The Dodgers hadn't swept a four-game series since accomplishing the feat on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks in July 2004, and hadn't done so in Los Angeles since June 1995 against the San Francisco Giants."
That's almost more amazing than the 1962 part.
I was at the game last night. Had a great time. Even though Manny didn't get a hit, you can tell everyone else gets charged up - especially in the stands. At the end of the game, there was one fan with a broom and he was "sweeping" the Phil's fans out of the park at the ballpark exit. Was hilarious.
