Melvin was ejected arguing a fan interference call. Loney went sliding to try to catch Conor Jackon's foul pop-up, and a fan leaned over and caught it instead. The ump called Jackson out on fan interference, and Melvin yelled about it for a while.

I only heard it on the radio, and I just got home and have yet to see a replay, so I don't know what it looked like, but Steiner said the fan obviously leaned over.; 8/29/2008 9:07 PM
