From Matt Hurst at Diamond's blog:
The Dodgers put pitchers Brad Penny and Corey Wade on the 15-day disabled list Thursday, calling up relievers Eric Stults and Tanyon Sturtze to take their spots. [...]Manager Joe Torre said that Penny "didn't feel right. He didn't say anything about pain, he just didn't have the freedom he'd like to have."
Wade, who was 2-1 with a 2.56 ERA in 40 games, has a shoulder, that Torre said "has been nagging him. He tried the other day to throw a curveball and it was bothering him."
